P70K worth of shabu seized in Bacong

Around P70,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized, following a buy-bust operation in Barangay West Poblacion, Bacong, Negros Oriental, early Saturday morning.
Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Joseph Caño, a resident of Barangay Isugan in the said town.
Bacong town police chief, Police Senior Inspector Romel Luga, said they nabbed Caño after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P1,000 to an undercover cop.
A search of the suspect yielded six sachets of suspected shabu and suspected drug money amounting to P600.
Police also seized a motorcycle from the suspect.
Caño faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at the Bacong Municipal Police Station./WDJ
