D-League Basketball Tournament AA Electrical escapes Blitz in OT, 83-82

AA Electrical squeezed past Blitz in overtime, 83-82, in the ongoing 2017 D-League Basketball Tournament campaign at the STI-West Negros University gymnasium.
The first half remained close, with AA Electrical holding a slight 15-12 lead after the first period, and it remained tight as the eventual winners held a 29-27 advantage going into the break.
Following a 27-9 run by AA Electrical, Blitz responded with a 34-18 run in the fourth period, wherein the two teams found themselves deadlocked as 72-all at the end of regulation time.
In the extension period, Renier Palomares added four points, as Junvil Juayong and Nicol Medina dropped three points apiece, for the win.
In the other match, BAPRO defeated Nena’s, 90-76./WDJ
