Several winners emerge from Novice Age-Group Swim Festival

Following last weekend’s Novice 1 and 2 Age Group Swim Festival at the Panaad Swimming Pool, several winners emerged across 10 categories.
In the Novice 1 division, the Sta. Fe Swimming Team won the 6-and-Under category, with Kiko Lumogdang and Maria Ramona Barcelona winning in the male and female categories, respectively.
Aqua Shark Sta. Fe took two female categories, with Julie Ann Chua winning the 7-8 age-group and Ysabella Ruiz conquering the 11-12 year olds.
Among the other winners in the division were Northland Aquatic Swim Team’s Earl Sian Fernandez in the boys 7-8 age-group, Negros Oriental Blue Dolfins’ Francis Saringo in the boys 9-10 year old group, Cadiz Whales Swimming Team’s Chin-Chin Garcia in the girls 9-10 year old group, Panaad Swim Team’s Danielle Sioco in the boys 11-12 year old group, Palmas Del Mar Swimming Team’s Marcon Siason in the boys 13-16 year old group, and Mwclc-Julius Caro’s Ashley Oliver in the 13-16 year old group.
In the Novice 2 division, the Negros Oriental Blue Eagles dominated the 13-16 year old group, with Isaiah Ken Pajulas winning in the boys group and Braile Celine Cosgafa for the girls.
Meanwhile, the Cadiz Whales Swim Team won the boys 6-and-Under through Kendrick Misa and the girls 9-10 year old group with Carla Ann Malones. The La Herencia Swim Team also took home double honors with Busty Jalandra winning the boys 9-10 year old group and Tristan Miguel Villa taking the boys 11-12 year old group.
Among other winners were Sta. Fe Swimming Team’s Dominique Sombito in the girls 6-and-Under group, Silay Triple-J Swim Team’s Intnyr Gutana in the boys 7-8 year old group, the Kabankalan Red Lions Swim Team’s Sharese Randell Medel in the girls 7-8 year old group, and Bago City Swimming Club Inc.’s Jeshanah Loize Oquina in the girls 11-12 year old group.
The competition was supervised under Fédération internationale de notation (FINA), or International Swimming Federation, rules./WDJ
