Free throws from Arvin Divino lifted Blitz over Akasya, 75-74, while AA Electrical routed FilSino-ESJ, 82-60, in the ongoing 2017 D-League Basketball Tournament campaign at the STI-West Negros University gymnasium.
Blitz carried a slim lead throughout the game, up 36-35 after the first quarter and keeping a one-point, 52-51, advantage going into the final period.
Divino and Tisoy led Blitz with 15 points each, while Christian Young added 12 and Raffy Siblag scored 10.
Despite the loss, Miggy Puentevella scored a big 26 points for Akasya
In the other match, Klint Quires led AA Electrical with 14 points./WDJ
