A Cebu native was arrested for selling illegal firearms by members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Regional Special Operations Task Group-18 (RSOTG-18) in the parking lot of major mall along Araneta Street, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, Thursday.
Police identified the suspect as Alrem Richard Narte, a resident of Consolacion, Cebu.
In a report by Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod, Narte was arrested after selling a firearm to an undercover cop.
Police recovered two .45 caliber pistols, one 9mm pistol, and several ammunition magazines.
Narte is facing illegal possession of firearms charges and he is detained at Police Station 8 (PS8)./WDJ
