Farmer killed over a land dispute in Bindoy

A farmer was killed over a land dispute with his neighbor at Sitio Cambihod, Barangay Tinaogan, Bindoy, Negros Oriental, yesterday morning.
Police identified the fatality as 64-year-old Juanito Babor Tepacia, a resident of the said barangay.
Bindoy town police said, based on their investigation, a heated argument ensued between Tepacia and the suspect, 77-year-old Ricaredo Pedrosa Yudelmo, regarding a land dispute.
Yudelmo reportedly lost his temper and picked up a bolo and started hacking Tepacia repeatedly.
The victim died on the spot, while Yudelmo fled the crime scene, however, he later surrendered to the Barangay Tinaogan captain.
Yudelmo is currently detained at the Bindoy Municipal Police Station and may face homicide charges./WDJ
