A resident of Binalbagan, Negros Occidental was arrested by members of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) at the corner of Lacson-Hernaez Sts., Barangay 39, Bacolod City, yesterday morning.
Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old John Del Olmo, a resident of Purok Darigold, Barangay San Vicente, Binalbagan.
Reports released by Police Regional Office-18 (PRO-18) said CDEU personnel, led by Police Inspector Adrian James Albaytar, arrested Olmo after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu, worth P300.
When cops searched Olmo, they recovered two additional big sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and P500 worth of suspected drug money.
The recovered illicit substance is valued around P20,000.
Olmo is facing illegal drugs charges and is detained at Police Station 1./WDJ
