Barangays Singcang and Villamonte won the first games of their respective Best-of-3 semifinals in the ongoing 1st Congressman Greg Gasataya Basketball Cup at the STI-West Negros University.

Singcang took an early 27-23 lead in the opening period, but eventually found themselves up by one point, 47-46, at the half. They eventually defeated Banago, 96-91.
