A suspected street-level drug suspect was arrested by anti-drug operatives of the Bais City police in Barangay 2, Bais City, Negros Oriental, Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Zenaida Sumalde, a resident of Aglipay Street of the said barangay.
The Bais City Police Station said they arrested Sumalde after she handed one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop, in exchange for P500.
A search of the suspect also yielded two more sachets of suspected shabu, valued around P2,000.
Sumalde is facing illegal drugs charges and is detained at the Bais City Police Station./WDJ
