Two people were arrested by Himamaylan police, following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, Thursday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as 36-year-old Julius Ardales, and Marry Jane Galaraga, 44, both residents of the said barangay.
Himamaylan City police chief, Police Chief Insp. Antonio Benitez, said Ardales was the primary subject of the operation after he was identified by the station as a street level pusher.
Police immediately moved in after Ardales handed over one sachet of suspected shabu worth P500. The cops also nabbed Galaraga, who was also transacting with Ardales at the time of the operation.
A search of Galaraga also yielded another sachet of suspected shabu worth P500.
Both suspects are facing illegal drugs charges, and are detained at the Himamaylan City Police Station./WDJ
