A man reportedly suffering from depression allegedly killed himself yesterday morning in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.
Police refused to identify the victim, but confirmed he was 26-years-old and a resident of the said barangay.
Police Station 8 (PS8) commander, Police Senior Insp. Wilfredo Benoman Jr., said the victim was discovered by his wife hanging from a bamboo beam of their house.
The wife, whom they have also not identified, said her husband was suffering from depression as he could not be accepted in any of the jobs he applied for and was anxious on how to sustain the needs of the family.
She added the victim also attempted to kill himself five months ago but was prevented by their neighbor.
PS8 is still investigating the incident./WDJ
