Young and potential tankers in the province are expected to fill the Panaad Swimming Pool this weekend for the Novice 1 and 2 Age Group Swim Festival.
Novice 1 is for swimmers who will be competing for the first time, and Novice 2 are for those who never participated in the National Palaro.
Joining the Negrense swimmers are the teams from Iloilo and Dumaguete.
The competition will be governed by FINA rules.
The event is in coordination with Coach Francisco Guanco Jr., the 1st Olympian the province has produced, and Cris Bancal./WDJ
