Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa will miss out the turn-over ceremony of incoming Police Regional Office-18 (PRO-18) Director Police Chief Supt. Edmund Gonzales on Friday.
PRO-18 spokesperson, Police Senior Insp. Armilyn Vargas, said the headquarters issued the new memo, yesterday, but it failed to state the reason why Dela Rosa would not attend the event.
She said, however, Dela Rosa’s deputy, Police Deputy Director General Ramon Apolinario, would take his place during the turnover ceremonies at the Bacolod Pavilion on Friday afternoon.
Gonzales is scheduled to replace outgoing PRO-18 Director Police Chief Supt. Renato Gumban, who is scheduled to celebrate his birthday and retirement on May 21./WDJ
