Three people were arrested by Kabankalan police following a buy-bust operation in Kabankalan City, Friday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as 44-year-old Ramyr Obidos, a resident of Tan Lorenzo St., Brgy 1; Luville Ramos, 31, of Roxas St.; and Valerie Ann Abadiano, 29, of Purok Paraiso, Brgy. Hilamonan, all of the said city.
Kabankalan City Police Station chief Police Supt. Rhea Santos said the drug bust netted 40 grams of suspected shabu, valued at around P400,000.
Authorities also recovered several items used by the suspects to repack the drugs.
All three suspects are facing charges for violating Section 5 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and are detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./WDJ
