Bacolod City Councilor Ricardo “Cano” Tan denied forging an alliance with Abang Lingkod Party-list Rep. Stephen “Karapali” Paduano over a rumored tandem in the upcoming 2019 elections.
Tan, who has already declared to run against Rep. Greg Gasataya in the next polls, said he had recently met with Paduano but doused political speculations.
Recently, reports also swirled that Paduano is planning to run as mayor of Bacolod City. The party-list solon, however, denied he was interested in the capital city’s top post, adding he would only consider if 3rd District Rep. Alfredo Benitez tells him.
Meanwhile, Tan revealed he has a hospital fund amounting to P7.5 million at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for indigent patients.
He said indigent patients should only bring their hospital bills that has already been deducted of their Philhealth coverage to his office.
Tan also revealed that he has Educational Assistance for 20 students this coming school year./WDJ
