Two people were killed, while another was seriously injured following a collision involving two motorcycles at the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road, yesterday morning.
Police identified the fatalities as William Casquejo and Josel Jabonillo, both residents of E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental, while the injured was identified as Joben Semolaba.
Silay City police traffic investigator, Senior Police Officer 1 (SPO1) Jeffrey Redoblo, said Casquejo was traveling west when he collided with Jabonillo who was traveling south, at the intersection leading to the airport.
Casquejo died on the spot after sustaining a head injury, while Jabonillo succumbed to his own head injury in an undisclosed hospital.
Medical staff, meanwhile, are still trying to treat Jabonillo’s backrider, Semolaba, who sustained a fracture on his left leg./WDJ
