Former National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)-Bacolod employee Rodolfo “Boy” Gamuyao was transferred by NBI personnel, yesterday, to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility in Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City.
Reports over local radio station Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod said Gamuyao was earlier arrested on April 19 at the Terra Plaza food court by local NBI agents, who implemented a 1992 arrest warrant for the charge of murder.
Gamuyao was also earlier accused by confessed Berya drug group member and bagman Ricky Serenio of receiving protection money.
Following Serenio’s revelations, Gamuyao was also probed by the NBI, during which he denied the allegations he was receiving protection money from the Berya drug group./WDJ
