An estimated P40,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated, following a buy-bust operation at Purok San Roque 1, Phase 6B, Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City, late Monday evening.
Police identified the two arrested suspects as 59-year-old Erlinda Delfin, and Joemark Elardo, 23, both residents of the said barangay.
Anti-drugs operatives from Police Station 10 (PS10) said Delfin was arrested by police after she handed over a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P500.
They also arrested Elardo, who was allegedly in the area during the operation.
Cops recovered one big, two elongated, and two small sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects, weighing around four grams; and drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects are facing charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and are presently detained at PS10./WDJ
