The Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Bacolod City recently passed on its first reading an ordinance pushing for a permanent schedule for MassKara Festival highlights, scheduled to take place in October.
Under the ordinance, MassKara Festival highlights will take place every Sunday, intended to “strengthen, promote and expand the festival’s impact.”
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia believes fixed dates for the festival will be a benefit for tourism.
