2017 Panaad sa Negros Festival Cadiz City, Calatrava win twice in Destination Pavilion, Festival Costume honors

Cadiz City and Calatrava each picked up two awards in the destination pavilion and festival costume display at the 2017 Panaad sa Negros Festival, which closed over the weekend.
They both won the Best Festival Indigenous Costume, one awarded to a city and the other to a municipality, which came with a P5,000 cash prize and a trophy each.
They also shared city and municipality honors for Best Food Security Program Corner, which also came with a P5,000 cash prize and a trophy for each category.
It was the third time for Calatrava to win for Best Food Security Program Corner.
Meanwhile, Sagay City won for Best Destination Pavilion among cities, and Murcia took home honors in the municipality category.
Bacolod City was also awarded Best Festival Colorful Costume for the MassKara Festival./WDJ
