Francis Obiena of the National Capital Region (NCR) broke his own record and took gold in the pole vault at the 2017 Palarong Pambansa in Antique.
Clearing 4.30 meters, he broke the record he set last year of 4.06 meters.
Mark del Rosario of the Cagayan Valley Region took silver, while John Paul Parulan of Central Luzon won bronze./WDJ
