According to Bacolod Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct a bidding later this year for the construction of 311 classrooms, along with information technology and science laboratories, and workshops.
“The budget will come from the budget of the Department of Education,” he explained.
68 of the rooms have already been slated for Negros Occidental High School, while the rest will be split among elementary schools and high schools based on their needs./WDJ
