The Negros Island Region (NIR) men’s football team is set to defend their title against the Central Visayas today in the ongoing 2017 National PRISAA Championships in Zambales.
The NIR squad, led by the University of St. La Salle (USLS), is comprised of Jo Warren Bedia, Joshua Dutosme, Florence Agraviador, Nessi Ramos, Regie Cisneros, Charles Ralphie Dabao, Charles Ivan Barberan, Charles Fegidero, Tristan Kit Robles, Ramie Dizon, Rio Ian Perez, Van Lloyd Baguioro, Ashli Pamilar, Kent Guevarra, John Mark Jamelo, and Mark Samuel Jadloc.
NIR conquered Region 12 in the semifinals, while Central Visayas eliminated Western Visayas./WDJ
