Franchise and business strategist Armando Bartolome urged local businesspeople to have “the right business mindset” during a recent seminar at the Sugarland Hotel, sponsored by the local Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
He said the first five years of starting the business is usually the most difficult and critical, adding one should have a good foundation in the aspects of business concept, manpower, profitability, among other matters.
Speaking to around 50 gathered, Bartolome discussed the importance of good location, having a unique selling proposition, knowing the customer, and being aware of cost profits.
“Dream and be passionate,” he stated./WDJ
