A man allegedly engaging in illegal gambling activities was arrested by members of Police Station 3 (PS3), yesterday evening, at Purok Riverside Zone 3, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City.
Police identified the suspect as 48-year-old Marioneto Layo, a resident of the said barangay.
PS3 members said they arrested the suspect after he was caught in the act of engaging in the illegal numbers game of Jai-Alai.
Police recovered six Jai-Alai tipsters, dated April 19, 2017, with the winning combination of 6-7-9.
They also recovered a betting stub and suspected bet money amounting to around P180.
Layo is facing illegal gambling charges, and is detained at PS3./WDJ
