70 granted provincial scholarships following memorandum signing

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. signed a memorandum of agreement at the Capitol Social Hall, recently, awarding 70 students scholarships under the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program (NOSP).
49 received the Indigenous People’s Scholarship, 15 qualified for the Degree Completion Scholarship, three received aid through the Provincial Educational Assistance for Capitol Employees, and another three were awarded the Negros Occidental Provincial Medical and Nursing Scholarship (NOPMaNS) under the medicine category.
Meawhile, NOSP scholars who graduated with Latin honors were also recognized and given medals and cash awards.
Also present at the event were Provincial Board Member Pedro Zayco, Jr., NOSP head Karen Dinsay, and Merceditas Montilla of Sipalay City./WDJ
