Bacolod City Mayor EvelioLeonardia welcomed the 1,547 elementary school principals in town for the 36th Department of Education (DepEd) Principals Training and Development Program and National Board Conference, which opened yesterday at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod.
“I would like you to feel at home here in Bacolod,” he said. “I wish, since it is your first convention here in Bacolod, this will not be your last.”
The event, organized by the Negros Island Region (NIR) chapter of the Philippine Elementary School Principals Association (PESPA), focuses on improving the implementation of K-to-12 curriculum, along with other administrative concerns.
