The Negros Island Region (NIR) contingent competing in the 2017 Palarong Pambansa will be traveling via bus and ferry to Antique, starting at 5:00 a.m. today.
The delegation is comprised of nearly a thousand student-athletes, coaches, trainers, chaperones, and officials set to take the estimated 2.5 hour journey.
The competition is set to begin on Sunday and run until April 28.
Meanwhile, the group is still facing accommodation issues at Tobias Fornier Catholic School and Dao Catholic High School, which are 28 kilometers away from the main venue, the Binirayan Sports Complex./WDJ
