HNHS business club recognized for program

Handumanan National High School (HNHS) business club, the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (COYE), was recognized for Best Exhibit and the third-best project for “My School, My Cause.” Posing with certificates received from the Department of Education Bacolod Schools Division are (from left) COYE President Joshua Montesino, club adviser George De La Cruz, Trinah Amor, Lyxx Sembrano, and Education Program Supervisor Dr. Pinky Guanzon.

As part of a joint project by the Sowing Legacy Movement and the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) University Community Development Office, the Handumanan National High School (HNHS) business club, the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (COYE), was recognized for Best Exhibit and the third-best project for “My School, My Cause.”
HNHS is the only public high school to receive the award.
The awarding organization seeks to expand the reach of the university in community development initiatives and motivate young people to engage in service for the country./WDJ
