The inaugural season of the Philippines Football League (PFL) will officially launch on April 20, with eight clubs set to compete.
The clubs include Ceres Negros FC, Davao Aguilas FC, Global Cebu FC, Ilocos United FC, JPV Marikina FC, Kaya FC-Makati, Stallion Laguna FC, and Loyola Meralco Sparks FC.
“The success of the national league is very important for the further growth of Philippine football,” said Philippine Football Federation (PFF) President Mariano Araneta.
Meanwhile, the PFL is currently in talks with PTV in order to televise matches.
The first match is scheduled for April 29./WDJ
