The Negros Press Club will be holding an induction and oath-taking ceremony for new officers at the SMX Convention Center tonight.
Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod anchor Renato Duran is set to be inducted as the new club president, alongside Rico Gantalao as vice president, Erwin Nicavera as secretary, Shiela Gelera as treasurer, Eugene Adiong as auditor, and Teresa Ellera as ex-officio.
Meanwhile, Chrysee Samillano, Jemlo Victosa, Glazyl Masculino, Martian Muyco, James Toga, Aquilino Ciocon, Elsie Jolingan, Dolly Yasa, and Edgar Lucasan will be inducted as board members.
Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd ‘Mike’ Dino will serve as guest of honor and speaker.
P100,000 had previously been turned over from Silay City Mayor Mark Golez for club programs, including professional advancement for members, medical missions, among others./WDJ
