Task Force Crusader (TFC) National Deputy Commander John Chiong said they will be providing necessary assistance to the mother of a 16-year-old student who was allegedly molested by her teacher.
In a report by Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod, Chiong said they will forward a formal complaint to Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Briones against the teacher, identified as Robert de Tomas.
He explained, by forwarding the letter directly to Briones, he expects the department to take action on the allegations and serve “immediate justice” to the student and her family.
Earlier, De Tomas denied the allegations, saying he was not at home when the 16-year-old student and her classmate stayed in his home.
The student’s mother, meanwhile, provided medical proof her daughter had been molested./WDJ
