The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Ceneco) informs consumers maintenance activities will be conducted this weekend, on April 1 and 2, in order to ensure the stability of distribution lines and avoid further serious damages that may result in major interruptions.
Details of these outages are as follow:
Date: Saturday, April 1
Reasons:
• Relocation of primary and secondary poles due to DPWH road widening project
• Mid-span erection of concrete poles and installation of primary metering
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Areas Affected:
SF1 (portion only) along South Circumferential Road (Cabug – Cegasco)
MF2 (portion only) Doctors’ Hospital, areas along B.S. Aquino and McArthur Drive to portion of La Salle
Date: Sunday, April 2
Reasons:
• Tapping of Alijis Feeder 3 (AF3) to Sum-ag Feeder 2 (SF2) and isolation of AF3 from SF2
• Mid-span erection of 69kv steel poles
• Tree trimming covering AF3
• Provide assistance to 69kv line contractor in transferring the 3-phase primary construction assembly from 13.2kv poles to 69kv poles
Time: 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Areas Affected:
SF2 From Sum-ag Substation along Abuanan Road (Sum-ag) to portion of Bago, Barangay Tabunan, Barangay Dulao, Barangay Atipuluhan, and Barangay Abuanan, Sayson Piggery, Quiet Place Resort, GC&C Crusher
Time: 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Areas Affected:
AF3 (portion only) from Puyas Substation, Hda. Puyas, Barangay Blumentritt to RGG Coliseum, Mansilingan-Murcia Road, areas along Alijis-Murcia Road, Barangay Mansilingan
Electricity consumers are further advised, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance between 10 and 15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
