DPWH lighting project cleared by SP

A memorandum of agreement between the city government of Bacolod and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was recently approved by the Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP), clearing the way for a project to install street lights throughout the city.
The project is set to cost P94 million and will install lights along Lacson Street at Circumferential Flyover-Bacolod North Road; along Bacolod South Road, from Gonzaga Street to Barangay Sum-ag (Bago boundary); along Lacson Street, from Lizares Avenue to the Talisay Boundary; and along Circumferential Road North and South, from Banago to Cegasco.
The project will be undertaken by the DPWH-Bacolod City Engineering District./WDJ
