A grenade and several .45 caliber bullets were turned over to Police Station 4 (PS4), yesterday morning.
PS4 commander, Police Senior Inspector Elmer Bonilla, said the explosive and bullets were turned over by a trisikad driver, who claimed it was left over by one of his passengers.
Bacolod City Police Office-Explosive Ordnance and Disposal Unit (BCPO-EODU) member and bomb technician Demy Montoya, meanwhile, identified the grenade as a Belgian-type fragmentation grenade.
The grenade will be properly disposed by removing its explosive powder, he added./WDJ
