In preparation for the 2017 Philippine Series, set to take place in Dumaguete City from April 4 to 12, the Negros Occidental softball team, the softbelles, will be competing in both the senior and junior divisions.
Suiting up for the senior team are Kaith Ezra Jalandoni, Mary Joys and Joesiemers Maguad, Neo May Mahinay, Glecilyn Alipato, April Gonzales, Chastine Jover, Ma. Victoria Magbanua, Glory Alonzo, Angela Solidarios, April Minanga, and Mea Tunogbanua.
Meanwhile, Mary Joy Alpitche, Ayeza Grace Arreglado, Joecel Cabato, Angelica Cordero, Neavia Marie Emborniza, Sheryl Hud, Kyle Marie Matarong, Anne Frensbelle Patricio, Rhea May Quilongquilong, Kenchie Tan, and Rodalyn Villanueva are on the junior team roster.
