The 1st Montilla-Lizares Invitational Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament will see eight teams from across the country face off from March 30 to 31 in Sipalay City.
Local competitors include Erjane Magdato and Alexa Polidario of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Kathleen Tagudando and Therese Caunga of Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod, Jennifer Cosas and Rosel Sy of Toby’s Bacolod, Jackie Estoquia and Dhannylaine Mae Demontano of Iloilo, Edna Rose Dicen and Reizel Mae Calis of Foundation Preparatory Academy (Dumaguete City), and Aira Bless Moreno and Julie Ann Samonte of Sipalay City.
Beach Volleyball Republic’s Bea Tan and Amanda Villanueva and Team Gra-Sha, Graciela Millezo and Shaira Lim, will also join the fray.
Prior to the tournament, a three-day clinic for kids will be held at the Sipalay City gym from March 26 to 28./WDJ
