Ice Sportswear took Game 1, defeating POC, 93-88, in the Best-of-3 final series of the Toby’s Sports Bacolod Inter-Barkada Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.
POC took an early lead, finishing the first half up 29-16. However, following a 30-18 run by Ice Sportswear, POC’s halftime lead dropped to one point, going to break ahead 47-46.
The momentum stayed with Ice Sportswear in the third quarter, going on a 27-17 run, and went into the final period with a 73-64 advantage.
Elvin Diaz and Bon Cadagat led the victory with 15 points each, followed by Born Enaya with 10 points./WDJ
