The newly-formed City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) made their debut raid late Sunday evening at Purok Cordova, Barangay 18, Bacolod City.
Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Denver Islao, a resident of the said barangay.
According to CDEU commander, Police Chief Inspector Benidick Poblete, they arrested Islao after he handed one elongated sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000.
After a search of the suspect, he yielded three more elongated sachets of shabu.
Islao is facing illegal drugs charges and is now under CDEU custody./WDJ
