A 46-year-old man was arrested by members of Police Station 3 (PS3) on alleged links to illegal gambling in Barangay Mandalagan, Tuesday.
Police identified the suspect as Michael Medel, a resident of the said barangay.
PS3 said they arrested him at his residence after they received reports he was allegedly soliciting money for jai-alai, an illegal numbers game.
Police recovered three “Brado” tipsters, dated February 28; betting stubs; a yellow pad; and P89 of suspected bet money.
Medel is facing charges in violation of RA 9287, or the Illegal Gambling Law, and is detained at PS3./WDJ
