The Negros Occidental selection took home two gold, two silver, and two bronze medals in secondary boys boxing in the 2017 Palarong NIR in Dumaguete City.
Joshua Condez and Vincent Bullor took home gold in the mosquito-weight (40kg) and light paper-weight (42kg) classes, respectively.
Meanwhile, winning silver were Jie Ar Calonia in the light mosquito-weight class (36kg-38kg) and Joenel Francisco in the pinweight class (44kg-46kg).
Francisco lost the gold medal to Christian Leo Genit of Bacolod City./WDJ
